A Futurist’s Manifesto

Where Are We Headed?

Leading a network of radical innovators who use technology to create better human experiences.

Better human experiences can shape better societies and lead to a better planet.

Human Experiences:

Our mission is to bring forward a profound transformation that creates large paradigm shifts through technology. We believe this is the only way to fundamentally change the way we treat people, proprietaries, and the planet in the age of artificial intelligence.

The transformation we are talking about doesn't come from pushing out an app for everyone to post their opinions. It won’t be a result of a single piece of technology or an isolated focus on a particular sector. It's not about creating or adapting to new technologies that reduce human interaction or capacity, but rather the opposite.

We want conscious innovations that put human aspirations at the center, those that appeal to our needs and help achieve our collective potential. So that we can see future generations equipped with competence and fairness and a world that leaves no one behind due to a lack of opportunities.

Problem:

  1. Many technologies that are incremental in nature are generally good but a lot of them cause distractions, hinder productivity and disturb our work-life balance.

  2. We face world’s immediate problems on so many fronts. Environmental, societal and economical. “Start small” approach won’t cut it and neither we have the luxury of time. We need a “radical and think big” approach.

  3. New trends and technologies are constantly emerging. For those who keep up see less time for quality interaction outside of work, for those who detach are missing out on growth opportunities; which will cause a flood of economic imbalance.

Solution:

Recenter technology and innovation initiatives that are in congruence with, that protect and nurture the inalienable rights of all of humanity.

That is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Why?

The nature of digital technologies has and will continue to cause a great risk to basic human interactions. We rely on these interactions to build societal structures. We fear that we will see a greater divide than ever if we don't address the problems today.  We believe we have the opportunity, and more importantly, the responsibility to change the course of the future.

How?

What we need is an active framework that will determine and be able to measure the impact of technology even before it goes out into the market and the user's hand. Whether the impact of a particular technology is aligned with the goals of better human experiences.  Because the framework will serve as a validation tool for both those who are creating the technology and those who use it.

Pressing Issues:

We fear that we will see a greater divide than ever if we don't address it.  We believe we have the opportunity, and more importantly, the responsibility to change the course of the future.

The result will be a combination of conscious tech initiatives and business practices.

Want to change the course of our future?

We are serious about changing the world. So, we want people who are committed and talented in our network. We don’t conduct ton of meetings and get-togethers but we are super effective in what we do.

In answering the two following questions, you will have the chance to introduce yourself and give us the chance to find out more about our fellow innovators on this journey.

  • How do you relate to our mission and vision of the network?

  • What do you want to contribute to our community - and ultimately the world - to build a more conscious future with us?

  • If you were able to change one of your behaviors overnight, which one would it be?

  • Tell us the top 3 things that frustrate you about our generation?

  • With a view of 10 - 15 years from now - tell us your three predictions and rationale behind
